Step 1: Choose A Real Estate Agent… (It’s Free) 


           A buyers Agent is typically a free service it’s common practice that the sellers Pay for Buyer’s Agent’s Commission. Its been a big misconception in the industry for buyers to go directly to the Listing Agent to get a deal. Knowing that the Listing Agent is Under Contract to act in the Sellers Best interest. what that means is your needs wont be a priority. Find a agent who’s going to represent you and negoiate for your best interest.


Step 2. Get Pre Approved !


         The Pre Approval process is the most Critical step in home buying. Any Good agent will not let you inside the home if you haven’t been approved. It is in your best interest to get the process started so that you can have an idea of what the numbers will look like. That way you can know budget accordingly. It will also help to catch anything that may hold up the buying process. its best to shop lenders around and find someone that gives a good rate along with least amount of fees. 


Step 3 Find the perfect home.


         Once you have an agent and you know your numbers its time to see what’s out there. When it comes to finding the right home consider the fallowing…. Location…Size….Price…Schools….Taxes…Crime..Rates…Neighbors…..Family. its best to narrow down to what you want and eliminate anything that you know wont settle for.


Step 4: Make an Offer!


           After you found the home you want its time to make an offer! Your Agent should give you all market information for you to decided where to start the offer at. Understand any well priced home can result in a multiple offer Situation it’s very important for you to understand that at the end of the day its your money how you value it may be different to someone else. in an event of a bid war discus with your agent what you think the home is worth.


Step 5: Inspected and Closed!


         Now that you are officially under contract, its time to get serious. Your agent should recommend getting home inspected. its important to catch anything that may be wrong with the home. having a home inspected will give you pice of mind so you didn’t end up buying a broken home. once all the test pass and you are happy with the terms and conditions of the house. last thing is to sign Closing documents then wait for your keys!
