The home sits on an acre of forest with a rushing creek on a road with only 3 other homes in the narrow canyon. It was designed by Ralph Evans. The main rooms share massive large windows that immerse you in the trees across canyon wall. Our canyon is between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon off a very desirable neighborhood with mega pop stars and professional athletes . Within 20 minutes (and no stoplights) you can get to four world class ski resorts (two in each canyon). In summer the mountains are gorgeous, full of meadows and lakes, deep forests, moose, elk, deer, and hundreds of species of wild flowers. Lift serviced and remote mountain biking trails. We have two amazing hikes right behind the house (no car needed). There are caves and mineshafts to explore. Both follow water all the way up for miles. Schools are some of the best in the state, including options for French and Chinese immersion.
